- Can I add multiple text overlays?
- Yes — click Add Layer to create as many text layers as you need. Each layer has its own text, position, color, size, and timing. Use the multi-layer timeline to arrange when each layer appears.
- How do I position and resize text?
- Drag the text directly on the video preview to position it anywhere. To resize, drag the corner handle at the bottom-right of the selected text to make it larger or smaller.
- Can I make text appear only during part of the video?
- Yes — each text layer has its own start and end time on the multi-layer timeline. Drag the handles to set exactly when each layer appears and disappears.
- Is the text permanent or removable?
- The text is burned (hardcoded) into the video frames, so it's permanent and visible in any video player without subtitle support. For removable subtitles, use our AI Subtitles tool to generate an SRT file.
- What font is used for the text overlay?
- The tool uses Arial, a clean sans-serif font that's highly readable at any size. The stroke outline and optional background box ensure the text is visible over any video content.
