Video Deflicker
Remove brightness flicker from old film scans, timelapses, and footage shot under flickering lights. Averages luminance across neighbouring frames — free, in your browser.
Flicker is a frame-to-frame change in brightness: exposure jumps between timelapse shots, projector and scan pulsing on old film, or lights that cycle faster than the camera. EditClips.online removes it free in your browser by measuring each frame's luminance and scaling it toward the average of its neighbours — upload the clip, pick a strength (3 frames for fast light flicker up to 25 for timelapses), click Process, and download a steady video.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which strength should I use?
Match the window to how fast the flicker is. Fast flicker from LED or fluorescent lights needs only 3 frames; old film and tape usually settle at 5; slow pulsing wants 9 to 15; a timelapse with exposure jumps between shots takes the 25-frame window.
Can it fix rolling bands from LED lights?
It fixes the overall brightness pulsing. Rolling horizontal bands that move down the frame are a shutter-speed problem and stay banded, although their brightness variation is reduced.
Will it remove intentional fades or lightning?
The Average method softens quick flashes, which is usually what you want for flicker. Choose Median to keep single bright frames such as lightning or camera flashes while still removing steady flicker.
