1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EditClips.online ("the Service"), operated by BernisDev ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

EditClips.online provides browser-based video and audio editing tools. The free tier processes files entirely in your browser using WebAssembly — your files never leave your device. The Pro tier offers optional server-side processing for larger files and faster performance on slower devices.

3. User Accounts

Some features require creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and promptly update it if it changes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Process, upload, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use the Service for any automated or bulk processing beyond normal personal or business use
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the files you process through the Service. We do not claim any ownership or license over your content. The Service itself, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by EditClips.online and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6. Payment & Subscriptions

Pro and Business subscriptions and credit top-ups are billed through Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, and sales tax. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing period.

7. Refund Policy

You may request a full refund within 14 days of any purchase — no questions asked. To request a refund, email support@editclips.online with your account email and the transaction details. Refunds are processed through Paddle, our merchant of record, and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EditClips.online shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and any data associated with your account may be deleted.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
