Frequently Asked Questions

How is this better than a normal chroma key?
A standard chroma key just deletes pixels near the key color, which leaves jagged edges and green spill on hair and motion blur. Our AI separates the subject from the screen and rebuilds clean, soft edges with the spill removed — much closer to a professional VFX key.
Does it work with a blue screen?
Yes. Leave Screen color on Auto-detect, or choose Blue explicitly. Green and blue screens both work.
Can I replace the background with another color?
Yes — choose Solid color and pick any background color. For a result you can composite onto anything later, choose Transparent, which keeps an alpha channel.
What does the transparent output play in?
Transparent WebM (VP9 alpha) plays in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, and imports into After Effects, Premiere, and DaVinci Resolve. If you need playback everywhere including Safari, use a solid-color background instead.
