- What are podcast show notes?
- Show notes are the written companion to an episode: a short summary, timestamped chapters (so listeners can jump to sections), key quotes, and links. They live in the episode description on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube, and they help both listeners and search engines understand the episode.
- How do the timestamped chapters work?
- The AI reads the full transcript and marks where topics change, giving you a list like "00:00 Intro / 04:12 The main argument / 18:45 Q&A". Paste that list into your Spotify or YouTube description and it becomes clickable chapters automatically.
- Do I need a video, or does audio work?
- Audio works perfectly — upload an MP3, WAV, M4A, or any common format. If you record video, that works too; we use the audio track.
- How is this different from AI Transcription?
- AI Transcription gives you the raw transcript to read and export. Podcast Show Notes runs the same transcription and then adds the podcast layer on top — summary, chapters, and quotes formatted for your episode description. Same engine, packaged for podcasters.
- Is my episode kept private?
- Yes. Files are processed on our own servers, uploads auto-delete after 24-72 hours depending on plan, and we never use your audio for training.
