- How is this different from silence removal?
- Plain silence removal cuts anything below a volume threshold, which can feel choppy. This tool is transcript-aware: it knows where sentences start and end, keeps a natural join at every cut, and also catches voiced fillers (um, uh) that aren't silent at all.
- Will the cuts be noticeable?
- Each trimmed pause keeps a short natural gap rather than slamming words together, so pacing stays human. On video, cuts land between sentences where a small jump reads as normal editing.
- How much shorter will my recording get?
- Typical unscripted speech is 10-25% pauses and fillers. A 10-minute raw take usually lands around 8-9 minutes on Natural, less on Tight.
