Frequently Asked Questions

Is the acapella truly clean enough to remix with?
Standard mode is fine for most pop / indie / acoustic. For heavily-produced tracks (EDM with sidechained vocal layers, multi-tracked harmonies), Studio Quality cleans up the residual bleed you'd otherwise notice in solo'd context. Both modes output lossless WAV.
Does the original need to be high quality?
Yes — separation quality is bounded by source. 128 kbps MP3 will already have lossy artefacts baked in. Use the best source you have (FLAC, WAV, 320 kbps MP3).
Can I use the extracted vocals commercially?
Depends on the source song's license — same rules as if you'd sampled it. AI separation doesn't change the copyright status.
